Pizza for breakfast? Say whaaaat?
My love for breakfast is real. It's probably my favourite part of the weekend. So I'm always looking for new breakfast ideas that are creative and interesting (and also super easy!)
Anyway, I came across something similar to this recipe so I decided to tweak it and make it my own.
Are you tired of always having eggs for brekkie? Or do you perhaps not even eat eggs (why though)? Or are you just looking for something different? Then try out the recipe below.
PS: I actually LOVE having regular pizza for breakfast! Also, please excuse the picture. I always forget to take pictures before I eat because I can’t wait:)
Preparation time: 20-30 minutes
What you need:
Method:
Butter one side of the bread and place it in the oven to toast. Remove from oven and turn the bread around so that the other side is also toasted. You want your bread to be well toasted but not burnt. You can also pop your bread into the toaster before buttering it.
Toss the peppers, garlic, chives, mushrooms and salt together in a heated pan until water burns out.
Once the bread is toasted, add a slice of processed cheese/regular cheese to the buttered side of the bread. Place the peppers, chives and mushrooms on top of the cheese and sprinkle salt. Top off with cheese and place it back in the oven so that the cheese melts. Garnish with coriander.
